Anko Sourcing is the direct sourcing arm for the iconic Australian retail brands, Kmart and Target. We are now looking for a Production Merchandiser for our GM Global Markets team who will be responsible for the General Merchandise products including Leisure and Home products.

Job Accountabilities

1. Order Management

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on time application of inspection arrangement & delivery booking with 3PL.
• Negotiate on order quantity adjustment, costing and delivery movement
• Monitor and manage the orders execution to ensure DIFOT (Delivery in full on time)
• Maintain merchandising systems to ensure production statuses are accurate

1. Supplier Management

• Supplier performance monitoring and improvement opportunity identification
• Align with suppliers on the improvement plan and govern the implementation
• Follow up with suppliers on Ethical Sourcing and Technical Audit arrangements

1. Project Execution

• Define the department level plan and prioritization
• Execute the projects when relevant, including but not limited to sustainability
• Overseas Stock Buffering, Overseas Decanting, etc.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of solid merchandising experience in General Merchandise & consumable categories, preferably in sizable buying office
• Sound knowledge on product, market and merchandising systems and procedures
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skill to liaison between buyers and factories
• Proven experience to be able to work with overseas buyers independently
• Well organized and with solid analysis, summarizing and prioritization abilities
• Good time management, proactive and able to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer knowledge
