Using yourproduction managementexperience,you will deliverhighquality and sustainableproducts in line with fashion trends, whilstensuringtheproduct reaches our warehouse partnersin timeto ship product to fans. You will also oversee the print on demand processes and vendormgmtfor the group and help to manage production workflows for all merchandise production
This role is unique in that it hasdesign, production,creativeand operational elements. The day to day will be varied, fast paced, and often high pressure but always rooted inmaking and deliveringproductsthat are in linewith ourCFT’swider product and commercialstrategy andensuring that we create a range of products that feelauthentic to our artists anddelight their fans
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities
Management ofshortleadtimeprint production(printing on blanks)workflow and timelines forUMGartists across the group.
Management oflongerleadtimecutandsew apparel and bespoke non-apparel (jewellery,accessories,homeware, stationary etc) production workflow and timelines
Management ofProduct Development of these areas (where needed) forCFTcomments and approval.
Keeping up to date information on Monday.com boards
Compiling costings, requesting POs,SKUand order information.
ManagingPrint-on-Demand products, from costings, blanksofferandproductsetup.
Liaisingwith EPMs (ecommerce Product Managers) and Designteams for fullproductbriefs(as and whenrequired),advisingof any technical or production restrictions for proposed designs. The ability to offer a production solution or workaround which may include seeking production advice from suppliers.
AttendingCFTand artist meetings(where needed)to input on product capabilities and timelines.
Workcloselywithand supportingthe Production Lead and Head of department.
Work closelywith the central ecommerce operations team to make sure that product is delivered on time to our warehouse partners, updating them of print delays or issues affecting due dates.
Keepingagoodrapportwith our supply base including site visits. Sharing information on their capabilities and new offeringsto the wider team.
Bringing in new suppliers to the mix when needed,handling the onboarding process.
Arrange and implement weekly production meetingswith the EPMsand wider team.
Work closely withCFT, managingtimelinesfor upcoming merch ranges to enable planning according to critical release dates and clearly communicate / oversee the production schedule to ensure thetimelydelivery of print artwork files.
Skills and Experience
Previous and demonstrable Experience inmusic merchandise/ fashion production management, preferably working with UK based printers and suppliers.
Proactive, able to bring their experience to theteamAble to relayinformation and solutionsin meetings.
Adminfocussed, organised,reliableandtimely
Flexibleand agilemindset, to meet the demands of changing briefs needingcreativeproblem solving.
An eye for detail, able to think ontheaesthetics of the final product, as well as the fan experience,packagingandend use
A passion and awareness of music and fashion culture.
Ability to liaiseand workwithvarious departments, takinginitiative and beingproactive
Print-on-Demandand UK printingexperienceis preferable.
Understanding ofvarious print and embroidery techniques (D2G,DTF,Sublimation,Screen, CMYK etc).
Experience in paperprinting for posters and art prints (litho,digital, giclée etc) is preferable.
Methodicaland highly organised,withtheability to project managetasks, frominitialbrief, through to order and delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. StrongExcel skill and email etiquette isa must
