Job Description

Plan the routine production activities at the manufacturing facility to ensure that all products are manufactured meeting the quality and the project requirements. Supervise production stations to ensure resource and efficiency optimization, minimize raw material waste, and ensure full adherence to quality.

Support for developing and managing production schedules to ensure timely execution of manufacturing orders. Monitors capacity utilization, identifies bottlenecks, and optimizes workflow to meet delivery commitments. Manage and develop the production team via continuous training and skill upgrading programs. Supporting Quality Control and Engineering teams for various product development project and testing trials to be conducted. Conferring with management to stay on budget and meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Production Engineering

  • Plan and coordinate daily production activities to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines
  • Monitor capacity utilization, identify bottlenecks, and optimize workflows
  • Provide engineering support to production and maintenance teams
  • Interpret technical drawings and guide shop floor execution
  • Maintain accurate production records and ERP system updates
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with API Q1, ISO 9001, and safety standards
  • Conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train, mentor, and develop production personnel

Process Engineering

  • Implement process improvements in collaboration with technical teams
  • Support new process development and testing trials
  • Troubleshoot plant processes and improve productivity
  • Contribute to product development and operational enhancements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Degree in Production or Industrial Engineering preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning and production processes
  • 7+ years of experience in production, quality, and testing preferred
  • Experience in composites or fiberglass pipe manufacturing is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and workflows
  • ERP system experience and advanced MS Office skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Training in Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Work environment includes a manufacturing setting with rotating shifts and potential travel to other facilities.
