The Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and developing work activities and necessary resources for the manufacture of HVAC products in accordance with cost, quality, efficiency, and quantity specifications.

• Direct and coordinate the production and distribution activities of an industrial manufacturing organization

• Direct the daily operations of the departments, analyze workflow, set priorities, and set deadlines

• Review production schedules and orders to make decisions regarding inventory needs, staffing requirements, work procedures or task assignments, taking into account budget limits and time constraints

• Create corrective action plans to resolve organizational or departmental issues

• Establish departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions between departments

• Appoint department supervisors and team leaders and assign or delegate responsibilities to them

• Establish and monitor product standards to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality

• Prepare and maintain production reports

• Coordinate or recommend procedures for maintenance or modification of facilities or equipment, including replacement of machinery

• Other responsibilities as assigned
