The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager VIC to lead our recycling production operations across Victoria.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing production performance, operational efficiency, safety, asset reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple recycling facilities. You will lead high-performing teams while identifying opportunities to optimise processes, improve equipment performance, and support future growth projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production operations across Victorian recycling facilities.
• Drive a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Oversee production planning, resource allocation, and operational performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage equipment performance, maintenance planning, and asset utilisation.
• Support the delivery of capital projects, plant upgrades, and operational improvement programs.
• Monitor and report on key production, cost, quality, and safety metrics.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated leadership experience within manufacturing, quarrying, recycling, construction materials, heavy industry, or a similar operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of production management and operational best practices.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large operational teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Engineering, operations, manufacturing, or related tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
