Report to: Plant Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Health and Safety
Collaborate with the employer to promote and maintain occupational safety, health, and environmental standards based on work conditions and responsibilities.
Report any issues related to work conditions, building defects, or malfunctioning tools, machines, or equipment to safety officers, supervisors, or management.
Wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the employer and ensure it is maintained in good condition throughout the work period.
Comply with occupational safety, health, and environmental criteria set by the employer and other relevant entities.
Ensure protection from termination or transfer due to involvement in safety-related matters, such as reporting safety concerns, providing evidence, or acting as a witness to safety inspectors, committees, or courts.
Plant Production Performance
Monitor and analyze daily production data (including volumes, downtimes, waste, and production rates) to track performance and prevent reporting errors.
Develop and implement action plans to enhance and sustain plant performance.
Coordinate with the plant logistics team to ensure production schedules meet customer demands while optimizing productivity, product quality, and production costs.
Collaborate with the maintenance department to address machine and equipment issues, preventing equipment failures.
Assess potential risks within the production system and take necessary preventive actions.
Foster effective communication and a positive work environment within the production team.
Quality of final products
Ensure that all final products sent to the warehouse meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
Analyze customer complaints and claims and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Develop and execute action plans to enhance customer satisfaction with product quality.
Production Cost
Analyze production variable costs monthly to identify and prevent overuse of raw materials.
Propose and implement cost-reduction strategies for raw materials and production processes, ensuring adherence to customer quality requirements while reducing production costs.
Continuous Improvement (CI) Framework & Key Performance Indicators (KI) Values
Participate in the preparation of the business operation plan in alignment with the Continuous Improvement (CI) Framework.
Lead the team in achieving goals within the CI Framework, utilizing T1, T2, and T3 methodologies and KI values as the foundation for collaboration and problem-solving.
Assess the competencies required for job positions, conduct Competency Assessments and Gap Analysis, and develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employees.
HR and People Development
Train, coach, and mentor shift leaders to enhance their leadership skills and troubleshooting abilities within their teams.
Assess operator skills against position profiles to identify training needs and develop personalized development plans.
Provide training to production operators to enhance their skills and improve shift performance.
Continuously develop the production team to achieve optimal performance and competency levels.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Ceramic, or Electrical.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.
Knowledge of HSE regulations, ISO standards (9001, 14001), and Lean principles.
Ability to analyze production data, improve processes, and reduce costs.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Fluent in Thai and English, both written and spoken skills.
Proactive and Results-Oriented: Able to anticipate issues before they arise and act swiftly to mitigate risks, improve production performance, and reduce downtime.
Willingness to continuously learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies to stay current in the field and improve team performance.
Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a successful management-level position, preferably in construction materials manufacturing or a multinational company.
