Job Category: ManagementThe Production Manager is expected to perform all the essential duties timely and accurately, in accordance with all applicable company policies, procedures, processes and practices, and compliant with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. - Follow, promote, and enforce all labor laws, safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and safety hazards and/or incidents.
- Support the management team with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees. Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
- Under the direction of the management team, support with effectively managing employee performance by clearly communicating expectations, providing regular and constructive feedback, and addressing both positive contributions and areas for improvement. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous growth.
- Assist management in scheduling, worked hours and non-worked hours, including approved time-off, to ensure employees’ hours are recorded and paid accurately and timely.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by actively recognizing achievements, addressing employee concerns promptly, and using approaches to maintain high levels of employee satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the allocation and utilization of labor, equipment, materials, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure production is executed efficiently and in alignment with path of motion plans and lean operating principles. Identify and eliminate waste, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure resources are deployed effectively to meet production schedules, contract obligations, and gross margin targets.
- Monitor and execute production across assigned accounts by inspecting work in progress and completed work to ensure alignment with Company standards, client expectations, and contractual requirements. Address deficiencies promptly and identify opportunities to improve crew productivity, operational efficiency, and production consistency while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Apply and reinforce lean operating principles, including 5S, by organizing equipment, vehicles, tools, and job sites to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and support consistent, safe, high-quality production. Provide on-the-job coaching to crews to strengthen productivity and operational discipline.
- Partner with the branch management team to ensure production outcomes meet or exceed contract expectations, strengthen customer satisfaction, and contribute to achieving targeted gross margin performance.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the managers by providing production updates, addressing operational concerns, and supporting adjustments to work plans to ensure contract delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or a related field, with responsibility for coordinating crews, materials, and equipment across active jobsites.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role, including providing direction, coaching, and performance support to field employees.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the equipment, tools, and machinery required to support commercial landscaping operations, including safe and efficient use, care, and basic troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage jobsite productivity, scheduling, and resource planning to meet project timelines and operational goals.
- Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) and Limited Urban Commercial Fertilizer Applicator (LF) Certification required within the first 90 days holding position required. Proficient in computer and technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and mobile devices.
- Must possess a valid US driver’s license (or equivalent) and meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) verification requirements.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
