Job Role

The Production Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end factory operations for the industrial protection manufacturing line in Vietnam. This role oversees production execution, process optimization, quality consistency, and workforce development to ensure operational efficiency and high-volume output aligned with international standards.

The position requires strong technical expertise in industrial textile manufacturing, particularly in warp knitting technology and advanced machinery operations, while also managing local production teams and supporting long-term factory growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently.
• 
  Monitor product quality and ensure all output meets global technical and safety standards.
• 
  Optimize machine settings and production processes to improve efficiency and minimize material waste.
• 
  Handle operational troubleshooting and maintain production continuity.
• 
  Develop and implement SOPs for production consistency and process control.
• 
  Recruit, train, and supervise local production operators and technical staff.
• 
  Build a strong operational culture focused on quality, precision, and safety.
• 
  Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding production planning and operational improvements.
• 
  Prepare operational and production reports for management review.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 
  Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Production Management within industrial textiles, geosynthetics, or related manufacturing industries.
• 
  Strong hands-on experience with warp knitting technology and industrial textile machinery.
• 
  Familiarity with Karl Mayer or Soma machinery is highly preferred.
• 
  Strong understanding of production processes, machine optimization, and quality control.
• 
  Experience in factory operations management and team supervision.
• 
  Good problem-solving, leadership, and operational management skills.
• 
  Fluent in English for technical communication and reporting.
• 
  Willing to relocate and stay in Vietnam for long-term assignment.
