Lead and manage all food production and meal assembly operations within the airline catering facility.
Oversee the preparation, portioning, packaging, and staging of meals for airline customers.
Ensure all production activities are executed according to operational schedules, customer specifications, and quality standards.
Manage and coordinate large teams operating across a 24/7 environment with multiple shifts.
Monitor daily production plans and ensure on-time delivery of meals to flight catering operations.
Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across all production areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure seamless workflow and service delivery.
Manage staffing levels, workforce allocation, and shift coverage according to operational needs.
Develop, coach, and evaluate supervisors and team members to build a high-performing production team.
Analyze operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor production costs, waste levels, and resource utilization to achieve operational targets.
Ensure a safe working environment and promote a strong culture of safety and accountability.
Requirements
Significant experience in a Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or similar senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing large operational teams in food production, airline catering, industrial catering, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar high-volume environments.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead through multiple management layers and shifts.
Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment.
Strong understanding of production planning, process management, and operational efficiency.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an advantage.
Fluent English communication skills.
