Department: Creative Services
Status: Contract (12 months)

About the Role:

The Creative Service team at Corus is currently looking for a Production Manager (12-Month Maternity Leave Cover) to oversee physical production, logistical operations, and administrative workflows for video content across linear broadcast, digital, social and branded integration projects. Serving as the operational backbone of the production team, this temporary role ensures high-complexity projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to corporate quality and regulatory standards during the leave period.

You will contribute by:
• Overseeing end-to-end physical production, logistics, and post-production workflows across linear broadcast, digital, and branded integration projects.
• Managing national and international travel shoot logistics, including foreign customs, carnets, location permits, and remote crew management.
• Managing production budgets, cost tracking, vendor rate negotiations and financial reconciliation.
• Building production schedules and serving as the primary operational liaison between Producers, Project Managers and Post-Production teams.
• Ensuring strict adherence to broadcast delivery specifications, safety regulations, union guidelines, and corporate standards.
Skills and experience you bring:
• 5+ years of experience in video production management across broadcast, digital, and branded content.
• Ability to manage concurrent productions simultaneously without compromising quality or schedules.
• Strong understanding of Canadian broadcasting regulations, union/guild agreements (ACTRA, IATSE, DGC), and clearance processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a calm approach under tight turnaround pressures.

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in an in-office hybrid model (combining remote and on-site work as needed), with flexibility for a variety of shifts, including occasional evenings and weekends based on production schedules.
