Production Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our Truganina site and lead our production operation through its next phase of growth and continuous improvement.

This is a key leadership role within our manufacturing operation, responsible for ensuring our people, processes and resources are aligned to deliver against our targets for safety, quality, cost, production and service.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the end-to-end production operation, ensuring performance targets are achieved across safety, quality, cost, service and output.
• Develop and implement site-level production strategies aligned to wider business objectives.
• Lead, develop and support production teams, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Own production planning and resource allocation to ensure we meet demand while operating within budget.
• Monitor operational performance and KPIs, using data and insights to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Manage production costs, forecasting and resource requirements.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR and other stakeholders to deliver site objectives.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and other external stakeholders where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working across the production operation.
• Support and lead change initiatives, ensuring teams are engaged and equipped to succeed.

What you’ll bring

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience leading production or manufacturing operations within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people leadership and performance management capability.
• Experience managing operational budgets, KPIs and resource planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into action.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A track record of driving continuous improvement and managing change.
• The ability to work comfortably with everyone from frontline production teams through to senior stakeholders.
