This position reports to:

ELSB Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.

This role is contributing to the { EL-ELSB-SBED: Business Line Energy Distribution in Egypt}.}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
• Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
• Ensuring that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization.
• Providing support as required, during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications for the role

• 8+ years of experience.
• knowledge of conventional machines, in addition to other metal processing (metal cutting, bending, welding)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Sold-works programs
• Managing multiple tasks with efficient time management.
• Previous experience in metal shaping industry is a must.
• Industrial Engineering background is a plus.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, methods, and techniques.
