Main Objectives
ENOVIX KOREA[Routejade] is looking to recruit a Production Manager to work for its soon-to-open Lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant (Nonsan Campus) in Nonsan Gayagok Agro-Industrial Complex. As Production Manager, the candidate is responsible for leading production teams to work successfully and safely to meet the needs of its customers, both internal and external. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing its assigned manufacturing process(es). Production managers monitor the production of lithium ion battery related materials/products to ensure accurate, targeted volumes are produced at the right quality and cost; and provide support to their production team members by removing obstacles to their success. In parallel with the plant ramp-up, the company is deploying its core digital manufacturing systems — ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and CTS (Cell Tracking System). This role serves as the dedicated production owner for these systems, leading their implementation, adoption on the shop floor, and continuous improvement so that production planning, execution, traceability, and reporting are fully digitalized and data-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of capacity planning, manufacturing, and product delivery.
- Manage flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility’s standards and regulations.
- Supervise to ensure products meet or exceed customer quality standards and required delivery schedules are met.
- Ensure compliance with plant standards, procedures and all EHS guidelines.
- Support certification in ISO and other required battery related standards.
- Promote process quality improvement using SPC management technique. Identify all controllable failures and eliminate with permanent corrective actions.
- Manage production schedules and duty assignments.
- Develop plans to achieve yield and productivity goals.
- Coordinate with maintenance and facility teams to reduce downtime.
- Serve as the production owner for the deployment and operation of ERP, MES, and CTS (Cell Tracking System); lead requirement definition, configuration reviews, testing, go-live, and stabilization for production-related modules.
- Drive shop-floor adoption of the digital systems: standardize production data entry, work order execution, lot/cell genealogy and traceability, and ensure master data (BOM, routing, work centers) accuracy.
- Act as the key liaison between Production, IT, Quality, and system integrators/vendors; translate manufacturing needs into system requirements and manage change requests, issue tracking, and system enhancements.
- Build and maintain production dashboards and reports (OEE, yield, WIP, throughput, traceability) from ERP/MES/CTS data to support data-driven decision making and daily management.
- Develop and deliver SOPs, work instructions, and operator training for the new systems; ensure data integrity, user access control, and audit readiness in line with quality and traceability requirements.
- Promotion for manufacturing cost management and improvement for each account.
- Develop ideas and solutions to maximize the productivity with lower costs.
- Team management.
