Job Description

What you’ll do:

Developing, motivating, and managing production staff
Achievement of all production tasks including safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, etc.
Continuous improvement within production
Responsible for the organization and maintenance of production line design (including process design, tooling design, logistics design, etc.) to support production operations.

  • Organize production scheduling meetings and supervise and inspect the implementation of meeting resolutions and plan completion.
  • Coordinate with various departments to deal with problems encountered in production according to the operation schedule.
  • Responsible for disposing of abnormal situations in production, and should report promptly afterwards.
  • Fully organize and implement 5S production site management in each workshop to maintain site environment and order.
  • Strictly control the consumption of material quota, and organize the workshop personnel to do a good job in saving materials and energy.
  • Organize to do a good job in production operation statistics and fill in production reports on time.
  • Organize the implementation of Total Production Maintenance (TPM).
  • To preside over the formulation and revision of work procedures and rules and regulations for the departmental supervisors, organize the implementation of such procedures after submitting them for approval and adoption, and be responsible for arranging the supervision, inspection, and processing and feedback.
  • In the horizontal liaison system, do the work required to be done in the department as stipulated in the procedure documents.
  • Approve reports from subordinates and process them in a timely manner, and issue documents within the scope of authority.
  • Develops job descriptions for direct subordinates and reviews job descriptions at alternate levels.
  • Directs, supervises, and inspects all work of subordinates and adjudicates disputes in the work of subordinates in a timely manner.
  • Understands manufacturing/business processes, capabilities, constraints, and process control requirements as well as business strategy (i.e. capital intensity, manufacturing footprint) and how manufacturing process decisions integrate and support strategy;
  • Maintain a true picture of the department and relevant data and summarize work on a monthly basis.
  • Fairly and equitably assess the management level, business level and performance of subordinates, evaluate them on a monthly basis and link them to the allocation.
  • Preside over meetings of the department on a regular basis and convey instructions from superiors in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reporting duties to direct superiors as required, and accepting inspections and appraisals from superiors.
  • Formulate the annual training plan of this department and assist HR Department to implement it.
  • According to the work needs, submit the application of personnel in and out of demand according to the procedure.
  • Objectively appraise and fairly distribute wages and reasonably dispose of planned expenses.
  • Delegate authority to subordinates to stimulate their potential and creativity.
  • Caring about the thinking, study, work and life of subordinates, and improving team building.
  • Completing the work temporarily assigned by the direct superior.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or above, majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical Manufacturing.
  • Possess certain knowledge of production management and have substantial experience in production management.
  • Familiar with the company’s products and production processes; experience in product design and inspection; well-versed in product performance and production workflow with a strong quality awareness.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills; hardworking, diligent, and able to lead by example.
