Production Manager

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Production Manager; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to coordinate the management and planning of CubeSat subsystem production while leading a team of production technicians. You will be involved in project planning, quality management, risk identification, and cross-functional coordination with different departments to ensure the successful execution and delivery of products.

What you will be doing?

• Plan and coordinate production activities.
• Support project planning and contribute to proposal preparation by providing expert knowledge of the technologies within the area.
• Collaborate closely with other Team Managers and Project Managers in the development of projects and products.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities.
• Participate in the Quality Assurance System, reporting and managing non-conformities within the area together with the Quality System Manager.
• Review and approve product documentation prior to customer release.
• Lead, manage, and develop the production team.

What do we need in our team

• Degree in a technical discipline such as Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in production processes related to electronics manufacturing.
• Previous experience in project management and team leadership.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards.
• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• IPC standards for electronic product manufacturing.
• Mechanical parts manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience working with the Odoo ERP system.

• Work remotely a percentage of the time to be defined with the manager
