While reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for shift performance metrics, shipping and receiving, production scheduling, material planning and control, and managing over hourly employees across three shifts Also, as part of the Management team you will be involved in safety, quality, productivity, material handling and cost performance, in a high-performance work team environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will Lead the charge in Sonoco’s safety-first philosophy.
  • You will facilitate a positive customer experience by lowering both internal and external product rejections and assisting the Quality team in responding to all customer feedback.
  • You will positively motivate a team of 4+ direct reports and 70 indirect reports.
  • Ideally, you will have previous experience/responsibility working with plant P&L.
  • You will lead plant continuous improvement program by identifying, proposing, and implementing project initiatives that drive plant productivity
  • You will be committed to employee engagement, satisfaction, and development to help them to reach their full potential.

This position is in a perfect location at our Robesonia, PA Tubes and Cores facility.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • We expect you to have a BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • You will have at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years managing a team of 40+
  • You will have Project Management and/or Lean manufacturing experience, and ideally packaging experience. Be prepared to share these experiences.

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $122,960 to $138,330, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.
