We are currently seeking a Production Manager to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!

The production manager is responsible for the management of the production and pre-assembly lines ensuring correct product and people management between the lines ensuring assigned targets for safety, quality, efficiency and productivity.

The production manager is responsible to ensure right people management in production to maximize efficiency and quality in respect of specific assembly lines and product (ex. Water/Air machines) in the EMEA thermal management headquarter of Tognana (Italy). He will report to Plant Manager and support operations in the implementation of improvement plan and by being promoter of the culture of continuous improvement in the assembly shop contributing where possible with an “out of the box” thinking. He will be responsible for the entire production structure and its organization.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Responsibility to keep safe working conditions and best workplace organization according the product;
• Optimize the production processes by implementing group lean directives of Vertiv Operating System and by keeping a continuous improvement environment;
• Continuous monitoring of the production KPI’s and respective reporting even by participating at higher level meetings and by keeping informed the internal support functions and stakeholders;
• Defining production budget and hiring curves according the volumes trends;
• Keep track of production people training, skill level, contracts and union involvement/information;

What will make you successful?

• Bachelor degree in engineering or similar;
• Knowledge/certification in lean production and philosophies;
• Min 5 Years of previous experience in similar position in complex organizations/industry (preferably in the HVAC, automotive or appliances industry);
• Fluent English;
• Knowledge and application of safety, quality and operative procedures;
• Good teamwork, communication and leadership skills;
