Production Manager – Manufacturing (24/7 Operations)

What You’ll Do

Lead Production Operations

• Oversee a 24/7 production environment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery
• Coordinate daily operations including mold changes, job startups, and issue resolution
• Manage labor and departmental expenses to meet operational budgets

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment

• Partner closely with scheduling, quality, maintenance, tooling, and shipping teams
• Act as the key liaison between production schedulers and shift managers
• Ensure materials, staffing, and resources are aligned to meet production goals

Champion Safety

• Lead a Safety-First culture by ensuring all employees complete Day 1 onboarding before entering the floor
• Take immediate action to resolve safety concerns and reinforce safe work practices

Develop & Lead People

• Coach, mentor, and develop production team members in alignment with company values
• Deliver quarterly and annual performance reviews with continuous feedback
• Partner with Human Capital to support employee growth, engagement, and retention

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Utilize tools like RAMS (Rehrig Accountable Management System) to improve processes
• Lead 5S and facility organization efforts to maintain a clean, efficient workspace
• Support initiatives related to PPE, layout optimization, and equipment organization

What You Bring

• 6+ years of manufacturing experience (injection molding a plus)
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Strong ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
