What you’ll Do

As Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing site operations to meet service and financial targets. You’ll lead a team of supervisors and associates, foster a proactive and safety-first culture, and ensure compliance across food safety, operational standards, and employment regulations. Lead and motivate a high-performing operations team to meet productivity and service targets.

Essential Functions

  • Lead operational performance to meet and exceed financial and service KPIs.

  • Build a positive, team-based culture through effective communication and leadership.

  • Coach and mentor team members, identifying development opportunities.

  • Manage customer relationships and promote a partnership approach.

  • Prepare operational plans and contribute to budgeting and cost control.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, occupational safety, and company policies.

  • Oversee site housekeeping, maintenance, and sanitation standards.

  • Recruit, train, and develop supervisor-level staff.

  • Monitor progress, report on performance, and drive continuous improvement.

What Experience and Education You Need

  • 3–4 years of proven operational management experience within a warehouse, logistics environment.

  • Experience navigating WMS Systems

  • Experience within a cold storage environment would be highly advantageous.

  • Strong experience managing KPIs and operational budgets.

  • Knowledge of ambient distribution operations, ideally in the retail sector.

  • Proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong influencing and decision-making capabilities.
