Our client is a well-established public listed precision engineering company.

General Purposes

Oversee & control Production to run with reliably and efficiently, to meet output target with specified quality, controlled overhead, planned material and agreeing budgets and timescales.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

1) Implement production control system across production floor.
2) Optimise and continues improve all production output and maintain with desired internal/ external quality requirements, overhead cost and agreeing budget.
3) Supervise production planning to ensure production follow agreed timescales.
4) Ensure production quality and leading continuous improvement plan in production floor.
5) Control inventory holding of raw material, packing material, WIP, FG and supporting production goods to ensure healthy capital for manufacturing cost.
6) Ensure compliance of workplace with Safety-Health-Environment (SHE) program.
7) Maintain monitoring system in JDE and keep track with daily basic.
8) Control production non-conformances and supervise rework activities to maximize salvage and minimize rejection cost.
9) Control & monitoring production wastage and tolling goods at designated area.
10) Succession planning for production members career development by providing internal/ external training, coaching and keep track on their improvement.
11) Perform production budgeting in term of capacity, manpower planning, production asset and premises based on sales forecast.
12) Communicate with related departments to ensure above tasks and responsibilities to be carried out smoothly.

Education & Training

Degree holder with minimum 15 years working experiences in the manufacturing environment.
