1st and 2nd Shift Production Lineside Inspector

Part-time / On-call as needed

Toledo, OH

1st and 2nd shifts

$17-19/hour

TRIGO Quality Solutions This job is key for the success of our Automotive Customer under our Quality Resident Engineer to assist in pre-sort and check parts prior to entering the production line. This position will be on an "as needed" basis and can work around availability of employee. Main Objective: M ain objective to identify any cosmetic issues with the roofing systems

Overall Requirements:

    • Pre-sort parts, quality inspection / audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
    • Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
    • Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed
    • Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
    • Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
    • Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.

    Organization & Management

    • Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.

    Technical

  • MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
  • Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction - technical support of the customer, customer support in quality issues and promotion of contracted customer's reputation
  • Be identified as the contracted customer's representative, qualified to deal with customer production issues. Get customer credibility through fulfilled commitments.
  • Ensure an open and straight communication line between OEM and the contracted customer
  • Provide continuous feedback to the customer about the status and evolution of existing claims as soon as possible.
  • Participate in the customer meetings, as required.
  • Seek continuous feedback, formal and informal, of customer satisfaction degree about our product and service.
  • Audit regularly how the customer handles our products.
  • Keep him/herself trained and updated on technical and quality related specifics and business topics through regular meetings and visits to contracted partner's
  • Report on a regular basis (defined by the supervisor) to the dedicated contracted partner's team or contact partner.
  • Reports to the TRIGO Country Resident Manager internally and to the defined contacts externally.
  • Representation of contracted partner and the interest of the customer
  • Coordinate repair and/or Sorting activities on site. Starting any sorting or rework activity must be executed only based on written confirmation by the contracted client.
