We are seeking a passionate Production Line Supervisor to lead and inspire teams in delivering world-class rail solutions. The Production Line Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations (welding), ensuring production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. This role involves managing a team of operators, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your Role, Your Impact

• Oversee scalable production processes (welding) to meet evolving project demands and ensure efficient workflow management.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between engineering, quality, and logistics teams to optimize output and resolve challenges.
• Implement and uphold rigorous reliability standards, ensuring products meet safety and quality benchmarks every time.
• Champion process innovation by identifying and integrating new manufacturing technologies and lean methodologies.
• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and structured feedback.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Previous practical experience in welding.
• Experience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge sufficient to supervise operations within a welding shop environment.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules to meet production requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or people-management experience.
• Experience supervising employees in a unionized environment.
• Associate degree, trade-school degree, or similar post-secondary technical education.
• Experience with robotic or CNC machine operations, programming, or troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AWS welding requirements and standards.
• Career-growth mindset with interest in advancing within the organization.

Salary Range

In accordance with New York State law, the anticipated salary range for this position is 70,000 - 85,000 USD. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation.
