Operator undertaking a low complexity role where minimal training is required to fulfill the task(s). E.g. packer, lean ‘spider’ etc. Training role for new operators. Works under very close supervision with a daily focus; no previous experience required.

Your responsibilities:
Ensure safe working practices, health and safety, environmental, housekeeping (5S) and quality procedures are adhered to at all time at site.
The Production Operator is responsible to ensure that their production activities are carried out according to Defect Criteria and meeting Customer Specification.
Ensure production activity assigned are followed and completed according to superior’s instruction thus meeting efficiency and downtime targets.

To action / do any other duties which are within the employee’s skill and activities reasonably instructed.
Duties and responsibilities will be extended to other departments as and when required.
Requirements for the role:
The person must possess at least SPM or equivalent
Ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing process to meet both internal and external requirements of the Company.
Ability to work in chemical based industry
Basic knowledge about 5S
Exposed to 24/7 hours manufacturing process.
Good PC skills especially MS Excel and able to do fundamental Mathematics
