The Line Pair Lead is a critical manufacturing leadership role with full end-to-end ownership of two production lines (Bottle, Can, or BIB). This leader is accountable for 24hour performance across all shifts, setting direction, driving consistent execution, and ensuring the lines deliver on safety, quality, productivity, technical efficiency, cost, and service.

The Line Pair Lead influences across functions, develops strong and capable teams, and ensures disciplined operating routines that enable sustainable, best-in-class line performance.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Line Ownership

  • Own overall performance for two manufacturing lines across a 24‑hour operating window
  • Maintain full accountability for Safety, Quality, Productivity, TE, Cost, and Service KPIs
  • Set the daily agenda and operating priorities for all shifts
  • Ensure consistent standards, expectations, and execution across the entire operation

People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members across all shifts
  • Build capability in safety leadership, quality ownership, technical skills, problem solving, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, skill coverage, and succession planning
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, engagement, and high performance

Shift & Line Leadership

  • Lead line structure meetings, shift handoffs, and daily performance reviews
  • Ensure clear communication, alignment, and execution across all shifts
  • Drive disciplined adherence to standard work and operating routines

Operational Excellence & Productivity

  • Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other functional teams to:
    • Develop and execute strategies to improve line performance
    • Plan and coordinate downtime and down day execution
    • Deliver productivity, reliability, and cost improvement initiatives
  • Lead root cause problem solving and continuous improvement efforts

Safety & Quality Leadership

  • Champion a people first safety culture with proactive risk reduction
  • Ensure product quality standards are met or exceeded on every shift
  • Actively coach teams to own safety and quality outcomes

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,200 - $134,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing, operations, process improvement, or operational excellence
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and performance metrics
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence across shifts and functions without direct authority
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, 24hour manufacturing environment
  • Experience in beverage, food, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
  • Bottling, canning, or BIB line experience
  • Lean, Six Sigma, IWS, or continuous improvement background
  • Technical or engineering education or experience

Leadership & People Skills

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team‑building skills
  • Ability to lead a team based approach to decision making
