JOB SUMMARY

This Production Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient day to day operation of the ZECO production and/or distribution warehouse. He or she will lead and train production/warehouse personnel to ensure production, manufacturing processes, deliveries and/or shipments are handled accurately and in accordance with company/product specifications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
  • Coordinate and ensure the safe and correct distribution of finished goods and raw materials to external and internal customers, meeting DOT and company regulatory standards.
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of shipping clerks and/or production associates.
  • Train personnel, appraise performance, resolve problems, and address staffing needs to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Follow all bar code scanning requirements during the inventory and shipping processes.
  • Ensure all material is stored properly and at the right temperature according to product specifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule warehouse activities to meet and exceed customer expectations, while optimizing loads and minimizing work hours.
  • Support order fulfillment process by working with operations management, customer service, production personnel, shipping and Pro Logistics.
  • Ensure standardization and implementation of best practices across all warehouse and/or production functions.
  • Complete other duties and special projects upon request.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Project a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company in a positive manner to our customers and associates.
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
  • Ability to organize and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective in collaborating with other internal departments to achieve goals.

EDUCATION

Required: High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

Required: 3+ years’ of production experience

Preferred: 3+ years’ lead experience in distribution, warehouse management, or chemical manufacturing

PAY AND BENEFITS

The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive salary depending on qualifications. The overall benefits package includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as 401k with company contributions. Paid vacation and holidays offered.
