Job Description

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a 1st Shift Production Lead for the Fond du Lac, WI facility with an hourly pay range of $25 - $28 an hour.

Production Lead Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop Talent: Onboard and train new team members, serving as their primary mentor and resource for success.
  • Communicate and Align: Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to share updates on safety, quality, and production targets.
  • Champion Safety: Enforce adherence to safety practices and ensure team members have appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process optimizations, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
  • Problem-Solve and Escalate: Address production issues promptly and escalate systemic challenges to the Production Supervisor for resolution.
  • Ensure Operational Flow: Maintain open communication across shifts with fellow Team Leads and Leaders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor Performance: Update and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics for your area.
  • Standardize Excellence: Develop, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work procedures for consistency and efficiency.
  • Grow Your Career: Participate in leadership development programs, cross-training opportunities, and continuous learning initiatives designed to prepare you for future roles.

Production Lead Experience

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment required.
  • May be required to possess a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record report and insurance coverage appropriate to enable legal and safe driving of vehicle(s) for company-related business

Production Lead Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, whether in a professional or volunteer setting.
  • A genuine people-focused approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proven ability to motivate and guide a team.

Production Lead Education, Licenses & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
