Job Description

General Purpose: The Lead Production Operator is responsible for the overseeing of operations of the all production processing areas. Ensures safety and procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices are followed in all action within the departments. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a Safety conscious environment. Challenge status quo Safety behaviors, engage in Safety initiatives and attend all Safety related training. - Drive for and ensure work product remain in or exceed the standards and specifications established by Quality Assurance and Compliance. - Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility as part of the team to ensure plant sustainability. - Engage and support a team environment within the department and across the facility. - Oversee production PM weekly - Ensure all production areas are clean and Master Sanitation Schedules are verified and signed. -Ensure production staff have necessary information and materials to perform job - Cover operator positions for breaks and call ins. - Ensure accurate logs and documents - Over-see operations to minimize product loss, and ensure quality of product -Any other assigned job

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skillsPreferred Qualifications
  • 3 years Manufacturing experience
  • Food, Beverage or Pharmaceutical experience
  • The ability to multi-task and remain focused
  • Good math skills
