What Drives Success

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure implementation of Company safety, health, and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
  • Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline/corrective action, and security.
  • Must follow directions from Supervisor or Manager(s).
  • Coordinate with department supervisor on shift schedule and instruction.
  • Delegate schedule and needs to machine operators.
  • Monitor inventory levels of parts, materials and tools needed and report to Supervisor(s)
  • Ensure tasks delegated by Supervisor(s) are carried out and to verify processes are being done correctly through the shift.
  • Assist production operators with machines and processes when necessary.
  • Ensure PPE standards are being adhered to and perform checklist duties daily.
  • Handling assorted projects when tasked.
  • Communicate any issues that arise effectively to Supervisor(s)
  • Ensure Safe operation of machines while maintaining a clean and safe work areas.
  • Other assorted duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

  • Math skills and ability to read a standard ruler
  • Ability to operate material handling and tools required to perform tasks.
  • Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent trade school

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years manufacturing
  • Ability to operate a forklift and or material handling equipment 2-3 years
  • Preferred experience in making dampers.
  • Leader ship roles

Physical Requirements

  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.00-$26.00/hour Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Benefits Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 10 days paid time off, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
