The Feta Laborer I position is responsible for completing a variety of packaging and CIP duties to assist with the safe and efficient operation of the feta department. This position is primarily a seasonal position.

$1.50 Night Shift Premium
Schedule: 2-2-3 NIGHTS, 3:00pm - 3:00am
Double time on Sundays

What you’ll be responsible for each day
The Feta Laborer I position is responsible for completing a variety of packaging and CIP duties to assist with the safe and efficient operation of the feta department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In this position, you’ll play a key part in keeping production moving and quality standards high.
Perform daily packaging duties, including vacuum packing as required.
Monitor block forms and extensions to maintain coagulator system supply.
Complete required paperwork and quality checks throughout the 12-hour shift.
Wash tubs as required by policy.
Support our daily production operations on the feta line where you'll handle materials, products, and equipment throughout the process.
Perform Master Sanitation/CIP duties as required.
Set up the packaging lines for the next day.
Follow safety, quality, and food production guidelines, along with assisting with cleaning and sanitation to maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Complete tasks safely while maintaining a safe working environment.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Always adhere to our Safety Protocols, from stopping any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures; correcting and/or reporting any observed safety hazards; supporting safety policies and programs.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
No experience required; in-house training will be provided.
Communicate well both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
Skills Required
Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), along with basic computer operational skills; you'll also need the ability to input and retrieve computerized information.
Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
