allnex is looking for a Production Intern to join the team in our site in Melaka, Malaysia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the working of a chemical manufacturing plant. You will be involved in the continuous efforts of our production plant in Melaka, and will be working with a team who is keen to help you learn and grow.

Apply your knowledge of chemistry in this role, where you will work with production data, lab data, and much more!

Responsibilities

• To be attached to the Production Department on site and be involved in daily operations
• To assist with process improvement activities and work with the production team for implementation
• To perform statistical analysis and evaluation of data for process and productivity improvements
• To assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures for site production activities
• To assist in creating production support documentation including operations process and productivity

Required skills and experience

• At least 6 months of availability for the intership period
• Tech-savvy and has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
• Meticulous and is comfotable working with data
• Curious about the chemical industry and has a genuine interest in a career in chemicals

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any other related field of study.
