What You'll Do:

Based at our brand new Laverton North manufacturing site, you’ll support production across plant nutrition, crop chemical and animal health products. This role is suited to someone comfortable working day shift, with a rotational roster that includes late afternoon/night shifts. In this role, you will:
  • Support manufacturing operations across our new Laverton North facility producing plant nutrition, crop chemical and animal health products, and be comfortable working day shift with a rotational roster that includes late afternoon/night shifts.
  • Prepare plant and equipment for formulation by following available Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where in place and using sound judgement and initiative in situations where SOPs are not yet established.
  • Carry out formulations as per the Job Sheet specifications.
  • Adhere to all general safety directions for the workplace and those outlined in the Job Sheets.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment used in the formulation process are in safe, working order.
  • Perform regular and routine maintenance on equipment when necessary.
  • Identify and address performance issues, conducting investigations, and managing risks.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in formulation within an ag‑chem or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Valid forklift licence ability to lift up to 25 kg as part of daily duties.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity while still ensuring best‑practice safety standards.
  • Understanding of handling dangerous goods, including flammables and poisons.
  • Strong drive and motivation to meet KPIs and production targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Solid knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and commitment to safe work practices.
