Job Description

Position: Associate- Floral Production Operations
Reports to: Floral Production Operations Manager
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Type: Non-Exempt

The position requires the enthusiasm for floral arrangements, decorating and creative display. This position will be able to follow written and verbal instructions to complete the assembly of Stein’s designed floral projects. Associates must be team players, enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills and perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Personally assist in developing a culture that understands, demonstrates and is passionate about the vision, mission and values of the organization.
• Ability to visualize ideas for floral decorations and home décor displays.
• Develop and maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and co-workers.
• Assist the management team in the implementation of merchandising and operational procedures.
• Assist the management team in ensuring accurate product inventory including appropriate on-hand counts and use of kitting components.
• Ensure appropriate supply stock levels, final product quality and packaging.
• Stock and rotate products and supply according to the company’s direction.
• Ability to be cross trained on different functions within the production environment.
• Clean and maintain areas of the production environment according to company policy.
• Participate in learning and development activities such as meetings, product knowledge meetings, and 1-on-1 interactions.
• Follow management direction in completing other duties as required.
Job Requirements: Candidates must have a passion for decorating, home décor and creative work.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to consistently assemble in an efficient manner demonstrating high degree of quality in work.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment.
• Great organizational and problem-solving skills.

The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 3 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
