We are currently seeking a Production Expediter to join our organization. The principle purpose of this position is to support the production operation with current information that will be used for decision making to ensure compliance with meeting order deadlines. Also, the Production Expediter will assist in maintaining the accuracy of green coffee inventory through execution of both the receiving and consumption processes. Expeditors will update schedules in Roasting, Grinding, and Packaging and update punch lists/hot lists to assist Shift Supervisors and Leads in completing orders in a timely manner. Production Expeditors will be required to enter into EXIMWARE green coffee consumptions and receivers with the objective to have accurate green coffee information from shift to shift and ensure ongoing inventory accuracy. Expeditors will need to be self-motivated and require a marginal amount of supervision from the shift that they are supporting.

• Work with production supervision and leads to ensure that pre-established production deadlines and orders are met.
• Communicate with Shift Supervisors, Leads, Roasters, Grinders, and Packaging Machine Operators regarding high priority items, add-ons (rush orders), and sample requests.
• Update schedules (Roasting, Grinding, and Packaging) and punch lists throughout the shift as needed.
• Help with the execution of an overall level pull philosophy.
• Enter green coffee receivers from all shifts in EXIMware.
• Enter green coffee consumptions for all shifts in EXIMware.
• Utilize EXIMware to research Green Coffee status and availability
• Perform green coffee floor inventory checks twice per week
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
