
Production Equipment Maintenance Team Lead

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production Equipment Maintenance Team Lead to join the A&I Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Transition technicians/team from home to work & leads Tier 1 Board review (daily)
Check/respond to team & Business Partner communications (2x daily)
Executes Daily Work Package/Plan (daily)
Conducts daily area readiness walks/checklists (daily)
Determines manning levels for each area, assigns work to technicians & monitors teammates labor utilization & OT
Generates CCPMs + PJs (as necessary)
Implement Production Critical Asset training consistent to PEM Tech. Spec. Standard (format provided)
Follow standard escalation/communication process (as needed)
Flexible to provide Subject Matter Expertise across all MBU’s (Not Just assigned MBU)
Support business partner meetings (Fridays or as needed)
Prepare & complete shift turnover report (daily)
Audit PMs to current standards from start to finish (minimum of 1 per week)
Submit red-lined PMs to Engineering/OPEX (weekly limit of 2 per week)
Check the process, Check the process, Check the process (daily)
Review Coverage Calendar (weekly)
Support 5s Audit of Maintenance Shops & work areas (weekly)
Verifies correct parts are in KLS
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication
3+ years of experience with manufacturing equipment maintenance
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
3+ years of experience utilizing volt-ohm meters and micrometers
3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications
1+ years of experience with 787 program operations
1+ year of formal and/or informal leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley
Experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley)
