Production Supervisor - Prototype Construction

Your Role

In this role, you support the Prototype Construction area in ensuring efficient material supply and coordinating prototype construction processes. You work closely with internal interfaces and make a significant contribution to timely and high-quality prototype manufacturing.

Work Model: On-site

This position supports the Electrification Smart Buildings division, Business Line Energy Distribution, in Schaffhausen

Your Main Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination and implementation of prototype and sample construction orders in close collaboration with Development, Engineering, Production, Quality and SCM
• Management of production, work and process documentation as well as bill of materials and manufacturing documents (creation, maintenance and updating)
• Material flow management: ensuring timely material availability for prototypes and pre-series, monitoring material bottlenecks and initiating appropriate measures
• Process optimization: planning and organization of workflows as well as continuous improvement according to Lean principles

Your Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training
• 3-5 years of professional experience in an industrial production or engineering environment, ideally in prototype, sample construction or manufacturing
• Technical understanding and experience reading technical drawings and bill of materials
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP an advantage) and MS Office applications
• Enjoyment of collaborating with different departments and coordinating various tasks
• Strong communication skills with high self-initiative and hands-on mentality
• Fluent German; English skills are an advantage
