The opportunity

Manufacturing Production Process Engineering focuses on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical power transformers:

  • Develop and implement scalable and adaptable manufacturing processes that align with business needs.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure processes support production volume and customer requirements, while continuously optimizing process workflows and facility layouts.

  • Lead the review and improvement of work instructions, tools, and equipment to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support long-term production goals.

  • Manage the planning and execution of process improvement projects, new equipment installations, and process startups to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Monitor project progress, control CAPEX, and evaluate ROI to maximize investment value and operational impact.

  • Ensure all projects adhere to scope, deadlines, and budget while facilitating effective communication across teams.

  • Ensure process operations comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, enforce procedures and compliant working environment.

  • Support the organization in identifying, recommending, and implementing improvement projects using lean methodologies.

  • Lead initiatives to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement, collaborating with R&D, Engineering and other teams to enhance technical standards.

  • Ensure all machinery operates reliably and is maintained according to best practices to minimize downtime.

  • Assess, select, and oversee the installation of new equipment and technology upgrades.

  • Lead process improvement projects and equipment installations.

  • Monitor CAPEX and evaluate ROI for projects.

  • Provide technical guidance.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

  • Identify and implement cost reduction and waste minimization initiatives.

  • Design and validate manufacturing processes for new products.

  • Conduct feasibility studies for new technologies and equipment.

  • Monitor KPIs and analyze data for process optimization.

  • Support supplier selection and technology evaluation.

  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Lead, guide and develop the Process Engineering team.

Your background

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or production management.

  • Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and validation, as well as familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, KPI monitoring, and technical studies to support decision-making.

  • Proven leadership ability to guide cross-functional teams, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with R&D, production, and suppliers.

  • Experience managing complex projects from planning to execution, with a focus on timelines, budgets, and ROI.
