Production Engineer

Welcome to our fuel factory and the Channel Manufacturing team! As part of our team, you will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of our production processes. At our fuel factory, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues working within welding, sheet metal forming, machining, heat treatment, and more. Together, we are prepared to meet future challenges, including the introduction of new products and increasing production volumes.

About the role:

As a Production Engineer, you will help support our production operations by managing technical documentation related to manufacturing processes and standards. You will carry out your work with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will report to the Manager of Channel Manufacturing and you will work onsite at Bränslegatan in Västerås.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain production documentation and work instructions
  • Drive and support continuous improvements in safety and quality
  • Provide technical support to the production team and help ensure optimal operating conditions
  • Monitor and follow up on TAK/OEE results, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to enhance production performance
  • Collaborate with support functions to develop and implement solutions for the production

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in production engineering or similar technical roles (we also encourage newly graduated engineers to apply)
  • Understanding of production engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in production development and continuous improvement work
  • Experience in creating and managing technical documentation
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish
  • Good knowledge of English

Meritorious:

  • Experience working with SAP
  • Knowledge of Lean production principles
  • Previous experience from manufacturing environments
