This is a hands-on role within Alva’s prototyping team, focused on validating new electric motor designs. In this position, you will establish and refine manufacturing methods to support both early-stage validation and the transition to scalable production. Working closely with the research and development team, you will test new materials and technologies to enhance performance and continuously improve our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead case studies to evaluate and implement new manufacturing methods
Conduct testing and validation of products during the prototype phase
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to manufacturing processes
Provide hands-on support to production floor operations
Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and drive process improvements
Required Qualifications
2–3 years of experience supporting production or manufacturing in an engineering role
Proven experience writing technical documentation (e.g., procedures, work instructions)
Fluency in English or Norwegian
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a reliable and proactive approach
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience
The following experience is not required, but candidates with these skills are encouraged to apply:
Experience in high-volume production environments
Experience handling and preparing epoxies and adhesives
Experience working in machine shops (e.g., lathes, mills)
Experience with electro-mechanical systems
