Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting production optimization studies to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Monitoring production levels and identifying any potential issues or bottlenecks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including reservoir engineers, geologists, and operations personnel to develop and implement production plans
- Performing well performance analysis and recommending changes to maximize production
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Participating in field visits and providing technical support to field operations
- Providing technical support for troubleshooting and resolving production issues
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of production data and activities
- Staying updated on industry developments and implementing best practices to improve production processes
- Mentoring and training junior production engineers as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of production optimization techniques and experience implementing them in a real-world setting
- Proficient in production software and tools, such as GAP, PROSPER, and OFM
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to travel to field locations as needed
