Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our team in the fiber optic cable production industry. The Production Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and improving productivity. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong English communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Process Management:
   • Oversee and optimize fiber optic cable production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency.
   • Develop and implement production workflows, monitor daily operations, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
   • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
2. Design and Layout:
   • Use AutoCAD to design and modify production layouts, equipment, and tooling as required.
   • Ensure accurate and precise technical drawings that support manufacturing processes.
   • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance production line layouts for efficiency and safety.
3. Quality Assurance:
   • Implement quality control measures to ensure fiber optic cables meet industry standards and customer specifications.
   • Work closely with the quality assurance team to identify, investigate, and resolve product quality issues.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
   • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices in manufacturing.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Prepare technical documents, production reports, and process guidelines in English.
   • Maintain accurate records of production processes, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background:
  Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  At least 2-3 years of experience as a Production Engineer, preferably in the fiber optic cable manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Language Skills:
  • Proficient in English, with strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
