A growing national manufacturer is adding a Production Drafter to its corporate drafting team in the Phoenix metro. This is an office-based role turning design concepts into precise, production-ready drawings that the plant floor builds from. You will work directly with engineers and project teams using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit to produce accurate layouts, dimensions, materials, and assembly documentation. It is a stable, full-time seat on an established team investing in modern BIM workflows, with real room to grow as the company standardizes on Revit.

• Anticipated $60K-$70K+, based on experience

OVERVIEW

• Turn engineering designs and specifications into production-ready drawings the plant floor can build from without rework
• Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and blueprints with accurate dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions
• Partner with engineers and project teams to resolve discrepancies and fold in changes before they reach production
• Verify every drawing for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications and applicable codes
• Calculate material and equipment needs to support efficient manufacturing
• Keep drawings, revisions, and documentation organized and current

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar
• Strongly Preferred - Revit experience, as the team is moving to Revit-based workflows
• 2 to 5 years of drafting experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail, solid math skills, and the ability to read and apply technical specifications
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and collaborating across a team
• Working knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and materials relevant to production
