As our next Production Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting production operations through coordination, documentation, and reporting activities. Your expertise in production processes, data tracking, and work instruction development will be essential in improving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Develop, update, and maintain work instructions, procedures, and production documentation
• Coordinate and support production reporting activities including downtime, output, and performance metrics
• Maintain and update production monitoring systems and databases
• Support the rollout of work instructions, training, and process changes to operators
• Gather, analyze, and report production data to support decision-making and improvements
• Coordinate compilation and delivery of production data in various formats
• Support training programs and maintain production training records and certification checklists
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, TPM, and efficiency improvements
• Support production lines with system setup, troubleshooting, and reporting tools
• Assist in scrap reduction initiatives through data analysis and feedback collection
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support new programs
• Manage document control and ensure all records are accurate and up to date
• Support purchasing activities including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and managing purchase orders
• Track inventory inputs, work orders, and production system data
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and compliance with all quality and environmental standards
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in production, manufacturing, or administrative support role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and document control skills
• Ability to analyze and manage production data
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and safety/quality systems
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, or production databases)
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
• Exposure to continuous improvement tools (TPM, 5S, Lean)
• Experience supporting production reporting and performance tracking
• Experience with supplier coordination or purchasing processes
