Job Description

As a Production Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of our production process, from raw material procurement to finished goods shipment. You will play a key role in maintaining our high-quality standards and supporting various departments to meet overall production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Schedule Coordination

  • Coordinate the purchasing of raw materials, packaging supplies, and other necessary components to support production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate data within the ERP system to prevent shortages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Track supplier lead times and coordinate with logistics partners to expedite urgent shipments when production schedules shift.
  • Follow the production schedule, ensure overall schedule attainment, and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Collaborate with production leadership to align material availability with equipment capacity and labor resources.
  • File completed production tickets and maintain accurate tracking logs.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
  • Identify, document, and report any quality discrepancies or issues.
  • Work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

Cross-Functional & Customer Support

  • Provide backup support to the customer service team by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving customer issues as needed.
  • Maintain a strong, up-to-date understanding of product offerings and customer needs to provide seamless support.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards within the production and warehouse areas.
  • Promote a safe working environment, participate in safety training initiatives, and proactively identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the team.

General Operations

  • Other Duties: Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned by management to support the facility's goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Must have strong and accurate data entry skills.
  • Must be willing to participate in regular on-the-job training related to the role.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED, or 5+ years of practical experience and demonstrated mastery in related field.
