The opportunity
Our local product group Insulation & Components is the technology leader in design and manufacture of high voltage transformer bushings. All renowned international companies of the electrical industry, active in power generation, transmission and distribution are among our customers. We have a top position in the high voltage bushing areas worldwide.
Join our team as our Production Controller.
In this role, you will operate as a Business Partner to the company’s management and head of controlling department in the factory (Local Product Group), while at the same time closely monitoring key financial indicators, market trends and customer activities. Drawing on your finely honed analytical abilities using SAP S4 HANA, you will work closely with the various stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making for the success of the factory.
How you'll make an impact
Responsibility for monthly closing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting in line with Hitachi Energy reporting guidelines; monitoring of variances between budget and actual results to support management actions
Support business planning definition, implementation and follow up according to business unit strategies
Create deep dive analysis in SAP HANA of Gross Profit (e.g.: revenue recognition, COGS, product mix, production overhead, Capex, absorption)
Maintain Full Cost Model and review pricing and capacity for production
Support Project Management during project execution and sales managers of the unit during the tender phase; identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities during tenders; participation in risk reviews
Monitoring of production KPIs, monthly SG&A cost analysis, Cash Flows & Overdues, OBL, ORs and Revenues follow up
Business improvement capabilities and project management can- do attitude
Your background
Master or bachelor’s degree in business administration / finance / economics (or similar)
5- 10 years of experience and successful track record in a similar role within an international environment
Excellent practical knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA
Experience in factory controlling and product business
Proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong can do mindset, able to work effectively under pressure and take ownership of responsibilities
Very good understanding of balance sheet, income statement and Cash flow
Finance and controlling specialist with solid proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Power BI, and ABACUS Analyzer, and a good understanding of IFRS
Fluent in English, German would be a strong advantage
