Leidos’ Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Production Control Scheduler III to join our Platform Integration team that is standardizing production processes across multiple sites in North Alabama.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organized Production Control Scheduler III – to lead and manage production control operations at our Final Integration Facility. This senior-level role provides leadership and expertise in production control, ensuring alignment of materials, schedules, and work orders to achieve complex program requirements.
The Production Control Scheduler III is responsible for managing production activities across multiple programs, driving resolution of schedule and material conflicts, and ensuring ERP data accuracy. This role also mentors junior team members and provides advanced analysis to support manufacturing execution and delivery performance.

Primary Responsibilities
Creating and distributing production schedules using Dynafact DMS Scheduler and/or MS Projects.
Coordinating activities among cross-functional teams to include Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Product Management.
Lead meetings and analysis to ensure Production Schedules and contractual obligations are met.
Incorporating Schedule changes resulting from ECO’s, Make/Buy decisions, and Revision changes.
Monitoring and reporting Production Capacity, critical path shortages, and Due Date/ Need Date performance.
Develop and maintain Line of Balance (LOB) charts, and milestone tracking.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes, KPIs, and reporting tools.
Ensure compliance with company policies, AS9100 standards, and government regulations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 4 or more years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Demonstrable experience across various ERP systems to include MRP, MPS and MES, using Deltek Costpoint, Solumina, Dynafact DMS or similar tools.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Must be able to work autonomously and stay focused in a high-stress, fast paced environment to meet customer and management deadlines.
Capable of working in MS Excel and MS Project.
U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Must be a resident of or willing to relocate to the Huntsville / North Alabama area.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced experience with Microsoft Project and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data connections).
APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Integration and Assembly programs with multi-level BOMs and WBS structures.
Ability to lead others and work in a collaborative work environment.
Familiarity with EVMS, MIL-STD processes, and DFARS requirements.

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
