The hiring range for this position is $23.00 to $28.00 depending on experience.

The Production Control Planner I is responsible for assisting in the timely release, scheduling and maintenance of shop workorders and work center labor loading.

Key responsibilities include utilizing planning and scheduling system for releasing, scheduling and maintaining work orders, work center labor loading, maintaining ERP system integrity.

Reports To: Supervisor Production Control

What will you be doing for us?

Production Planning

• Utilize system requirement reports to release schedule work orders

• Continuously communicates changes and updates to accommodate customer needs

• Responds timely to sales and shop floor requests

• Plan, release, and manage work orders for designated areas

ERP System Integrity

• Demonstrates beginning understanding of ERP system functionality

• Recognizes the need to modify the plan to fit the current short-term needs

• Familiar with structures and routings

Relationship Management

• Sponsor effective communication between departments

• Communicates and maintains good working relationships with all internal staff

• Readily volunteers help to support the team

Qualifications

Educational and experience requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED, some college desired
• Relevant experience in manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge and understand of ERP system functionality
• Familiarity with structures and routings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and attendance
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good relationship management skills
