Job Description
Plan, organize, and lead daily production of stall lunches for approximately 100-150 employees.
Prepare and oversee the production of sandwiches, salads, and other retail items for the company's stores and outlets,
Coordinate and execute food preparation for the company's burger restaurant, ensuring consistency and high standards of quality.
Assist in any catering planning, setup, and execution for company and external events.
Work closely with the Bakery Production Manager to schedule, allocate, and supervise kitchen and catering team members.
Al times support any Bakery Supervisors in overseeing production flow and ensuring bakery product meel company standards.
Implement and enforce proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices in accordance with HACCP and company policies.
Ensure efficient use of ingredients and materials to minimize wastage and manage cost controls.
Maintain accurate records for production, stock usage, and daily kitchen reports.
Assist in training, mentoring, and developing kitchen and catering staff.
Monitor kitchen equipment, ensure proper maintenance, and report any issues promptly.
Collaborate with management on menu development, recipe standardization, and continuous improvement of production processes.
Requirements
Formal qualifications as a Chel and proven experience in high-volume food production or catering environments.
Strong technical cooking skills across multiple kitchen sections including hot, cold, and prep areas. Experience in planning, organizing, and executing production for multi-outlet or large-scale catering operations.
Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and workplace health & safety standards.
Ability to supervise and tuain team members effectively in a last-paced production kitchen. Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and quality.
Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to daily operations.
Flexibility to work varied louis as required, including early mornings, a night shift or weekends.
