Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

Pay: $120,000–$150,000 annual earning potential

Pay Structure: Salary/Base + Production Commission

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $4,000

If you're an experienced Automotive Technician who can consistently turn hours and you're tired of waiting around for work, Peninsula Total Car Care wants to talk to you.

We've been serving the area since 2002, and there's consistently more work available than our technicians can handle. We're looking for a strong Production Automotive Technician who can efficiently diagnose and repair all makes and models and has the experience to handle whatever comes through the door.

This isn't an entry-level position. We're looking for a seasoned technician who knows how to work efficiently, produce at a high level, and take ownership of their repairs.

Peninsula Total Car Care is a well-established, high-volume shop with more work available than our technicians can handle.

This role is designed for someone who can work through approximately seven vehicles per day and produce around 55 hours per week on a five-day schedule.

If you're efficient, experienced, and capable of producing, we have the workload to support you.

What You'll Do

This is a true general automotive production position. You'll work on a wide variety of vehicles and repairs, including:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
• Perform general automotive repair
• Complete advanced diagnostics
• Perform timing belt and timing chain repairs
• Perform engine repairs and replacement
• Perform transmission-related repairs
• Handle drivability concerns
• Complete maintenance and repair work efficiently
• Evaluate vehicles and determine proper repair procedures
• Work independently on all makes and models
• Maintain strong quality while producing at a high level

You should have the experience and technical ability to evaluate, test, diagnose, and repair virtually anything that comes through the front door.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced technician — not someone who still needs significant day-to-day technical assistance.

Ideal qualifications include:

• Approximately 8–10+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong general automotive background
• Experience working on multiple makes and models
• Strong diagnostic ability
• Major repair experience
• Timing belt and timing chain experience
• Engine and transmission repair experience
• Electrical and drivability diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proven ability to produce efficiently
• Target ability of approximately 55 flagged/produced hours per week
• Professional tools appropriate for an experienced technician
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic and accountability

Qualified candidates should be prepared to discuss their current production numbers, the types of major repairs they've completed independently, and their professional tool setup.
