This position weighs, packages, and labels products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assemblecontainers as needed and place them in position for filling or dumping.

Makes uplabelsas needed and applies them according to established packaging proceduresUses bar code system.

Periodically checks production for quality; notifies supervisor, if necessary, when poor quality is observed.

Monitorsand operatesweighing equipment.

Occasionallytrainsinexperienced employees.

Drives forklifts as needed to move product to their proper location.

Keepequipmentand work area clean and orderly,cleansup major spills whenrequired

Packagesproductsaccording to established packaging procedures.

Records andmaintainsall production datain accordance withestablished procedures.

Uses safe working practices andreportshazardous conditions at all times.

Periodically relieves others, as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
