As a Production Associate I in Noblesville, you will perform hands-on technical work supporting the manufacture, configuration, refurbishment, testing, and repair of Ultrasound systems. You will use mechanical, troubleshooting, and technical skills to evaluate equipment, complete repairs and upgrades, test system functionality, and help ensure every system meets our quality standards.

Job Description

As a Production Associate I, you will:

• Inspect Ultrasound systems and components to identify damage, defects, and required repairs.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, replace, and reassemble system components.
• Perform required service corrective actions and hardware or software upgrades.
• Install system options and accessories according to product requirements.
• Perform diagnostic and functional testing to verify proper system operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Follow approved work instructions, technical documentation, and established manufacturing processes.
• Accurately document repairs, testing results, and required Device History Record information.
• Identify, segregate, and appropriately route products or components that do not meet acceptance criteria.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including the status and location of parts, components, and systems.
• Properly maintain tools and test equipment and ensure required calibrations are current.
• Partner with engineers, team members, and site leaders to improve product quality, processes, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute ideas that improve quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.
• Follow all Quality Management System requirements, applicable regulations, training requirements, and site safety policies.
• Support on-time delivery and positive customer outcomes through high-quality workmanship.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or local equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, repair, maintenance, technical service, troubleshooting, or other related hands-on technical work.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safe work practices.
• Demonstrated reliability, accountability, initiative, and strong work ethic.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to learn new processes and adapt to changing daily priorities.
• Demonstrated mechanical, troubleshooting, technical, computer, or process-improvement skills relevant to the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in technology, engineering, electronics, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, repair, technical service, or a regulated industry such as medical devices.
• Experience working in a quality-focused manufacturing or service environment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous-improvement practices.
